I am Jess

Since i was young I’ve always been captivated our beautiful world, exploring it, meeting new faces and capturing all on camera.

Photography is arguably the most contradictory art form. It can be objective but also intensely emotional. It’s immediate but not really complete until it’s been processed or edited. It claims to capture reality but in fact only captures a version of it. And caught at the center of this whirling identity crisis are two distinctly different mediums: digital and analog.

I have a love for both analog and digital, i have been collecting all sorts of film cameras for as long as i can remember. There both very amazing in there own different way.

Im inspired by our beautiful diverse planet, the incredible people, complex cultures and magnificent animals we get to experience on a daily basis.

My goal is to make people want to get off there couch, office chair and start to live to explore!
